2 Corinthians 4:16,17 state, "Therefore we do not lost heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are acheiving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all."
Basically this means that we cannot give up. Even though on the outside things may look like they are falling apart, and we have no way out, God is making us new on the inside. He is strengthening us for harder times that will come so we are prepared to continue to fight. We must not give up because God is always on our side to help us along the way. A day doesn't go by without God giving us grace. These hard times that we are experiencing are preparing us for the good times to come and celebrations that we are going to have. The things that we see today are here now but gone tomorrow. Do not lose heart!
