UNDERSTANDING--trusting that God knows everything

One simple scripture, and its kind of self explanatory. Read, digest, focus, meditate, and pray about it. I'll try to break each verse down as you read them.

Proverbs 3:5-9

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; (Sincerely. Give everything to Him. One way to try to do this is to list every day the things you need to trust God with, and as you pray tell God you are giving it to Him. Then tear it up, or burn it.)
don't try to figure out everything on your own. (Just don't. You can't. Go back and read yesterday's blog.)
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; (Before you do any action, make any decision, before you eat, PRAY. Stop, be patient. Do not rush into anything.)
He's the one who will keep you on track. (THE ONLY ONE)
Don't assume that you know it all. (Yeah, you.)
Run to God! Run from evil! (Chasing after Him, not halfway. Don't read 3 verses in the morning and pray for 30 seconds then think that you are running towards Him. Uhuh buddy.)
Your body will glow with health,
your very bones will vibrate with life! (This is because God gives you joy you cannot get from any worldly thing.)
Honor God with everything you own;
give Him the first and the best. (Your talents, strengths, rewards, tithes, everything is for God's glory.)
Your barns will burst,
your wine vats will brim over. (When you honor God, you will prosper.)
But don't, dear friend, resent God's discipline;
don't sulk under His loving correction. (Don't turn your prayers into opportunities to complain to God about how He is not doing what you want Him to do in your life.)
It's the child He loves that God corrects;
a father's delight is behind all this. (If you are going through something while not obeying God's will, do not think He is chastising you because He is angry. It is because He wants our best. Just like a father punishes a child who plays with fire, so our Father corrects us. He doesn't want us to get burned. Yet we continue to play with fire!!)

Love you everyone!
